Bright out order forms were distributed on 9/12. All order forms and payment are due to the office by TOMORROW, Wednesday, September 20th. This year we are offering long sleeve and short sleeve t-shirts. Please place your order in the drop box in the office. Extra order forms are available in the office. The Bright-Out football game is on Friday, October 6th!
The first Student Council meeting this year will be on Tuesday, Sept. 26th in room 211 from 2:45 to 3:15. Please ensure you have a ride available to pick you up. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please let Mrs. Mason know. Continue to check your Google Classroom for updates.

The first Gardening Club meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, September 26th in Mrs. Deibert’s room 205 from 2:45-3:30 pm. If you would like to join Gardening Club this year, please pick up a permission slip in the office or from Mrs. Deibert. If you were in Gardening Club last year, you still need a permission slip to attend the first meeting this year.
The Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring a soccer challenge open to all boys and girls ages 9 to 14 on Sunday, September 24th at Palmyra High School starting 1:00. Contestants will make a series of penalty kicks into designated scoring zones into a regulation size goal. High scorer in each age group for boys and girls will advance to the next round of competition. Entry forms may be picked up at the school office and must be signed by a parent and returned at the time and place of the event.
There will be a brief Paws for a Cause meeting TOMORROW, Wednesday, Sept. 20th. Please make sure you have signed up through the Schoology form and have a ride home for 3:00 pm.
The Outdoor Club will meet this Thursday, Sept. 21, from 2:45 until 3:20 in Mr. Martin’s room 208. All interested students are encouraged to attend.
Attention all students in grades 6th through 8th…. are you interested in making our middle school the best it can be? Are you creative and want to share your ideas? Do you make a great role model? Well, then Student Council is for you! If you are interested in applying for membership to serve as a representative for the 2017-18 school year, the application is on Schoology. Find the access code on Mrs. Mason’s webpage. Completed applications are due no later than October 1st, via Schoology.
Heart and Sole meets after school TOMORROW, Sept. 20, from 2:45 to 4:15 in Mrs. Groff’s room 52.
The Middle School library will be holding its annual SuperBowl contest till the end of September. All you have to do is check out a book and take a guess who you think will win the big game. If you don’t watch football, or never heard of football, you are in luck. Our last 3 winners have been readers who just took a guess. Please stop down and check out a book today.
Attention all wrestlers: There will be an informational meeting about wrestling September 28th after school in Coach Kuter's room 112. Everyone who is interested in wrestling this season should attend. Coach Manney from the high school team will be there to meet everyone.
The football teams have played - who is looking good, who is looking like they should have stayed home? Will this be the year Mr. Short’s dreams come true with the Dolphins winning the big game or will it be another team pulling the big upset? Please stop down to the library and check out a book and take a guess who will win it all. The voting ends on Friday, Sept. 29th at 2:30.
