Student Council applications: Are you interested in making a positive difference in our middle school and showing some Cougar PRIDE? Well here is your chance...applications to join the PAMS Student Council are now available. Email Mrs. Mason or come to room 212 to receive one. Completed applications are due back to Mrs. Mason by Oct. 5th.
Join the Student Ambassador Program: Do you enjoy helping others? Do you want to promote a positive school climate? Would you like to give tours of the school, help out new students and promote our Palmyra PRIDE? If this sounds like you, join the Student Ambassador Program. If you are interested stop by the counseling office before school or during PAWS period. Sign up by Sept. 17th.
Join the Student Tech team: Do you feel confident in finding your way around your iPad? Are you familiar with Schoology, Notability and other apps our school uses? Do you like teaching others about technology? If this sounds like you, the counseling office is starting a Tech Team to support new students to our building. Stop by the counseling office before school or during PAWS to sign up by Sept. 17th.
Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge: The Knights of Columbus are holding a Soccer Challenge on Sunday, September 26th at 2pm at Pine Street Elementary School. The contest is open to students ages 9-14. Any questions please contact Steve Kristich 717-507-2744 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Please stop by the main office to pick up a registration form.
Come Work with us at the Middle School!! The Palmyra MS is hiring in Food Service! There are multiple part-time, 5-day positions open between the hours of 8:00 AM -2:00 PM daily. We are also looking for a few reliable substitutes willing to work up to 15 hours per week. This is a great opportunity to work while your students are in school serving fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals. Please contact Maria_Fischer@pasd.us directly with interest.
Parent Schoology Accounts for 6th Grade and New Middle School Students Schoology Parent Accounts have been created for all 6th grade students and students who are new to the middle school this year. Join the Caring Cougars: Do you like helping others? Do you want to make a difference in your community? If so, Caring Cougars might be the club for you! This club will focus on spreading cheer in our school and around our community. Some of our activities include visiting elementary schools, recognizing our police/fire departments, and spreading cheer to our crossing guards/bus drivers. If you are interested in being a part of the Caring Cougars, please attend our first meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 22nd from 2:45-3:15 in the library.
