Middle School sports for this week: Monday:Boys basketball is home against Lower Dauphin, girls basketball is away against Lower Dauphin with a 2:15pm early dismissal Tuesday: None Wednesday:Boys basketball is away against Mifflin County with a 1:15pm early dismissal, girls basketball is home against Mifflin County Thursday:Boys basketball is away against Central Dauphin with a 2:20 early dismissal; girls basketball is home against Central Dauphin Friday:None
Boys soccer: Attention 7th & 8th grade boys interested in playing Middle School Soccer this spring: there will be an informational meeting held in Coach Wilver's room 102 on Tuesday, February 3rd. The meeting will last from 2:45 until approximately 3:15. Please make sure to arrange a ride home for after the meeting, and see Coach Wilver if you have any questions.
PAMS WINTER PEP WEEK PEP RALLY IS FRIDAY, 2/6 MONDAY, 2/2: LET THE GAMES BEGIN! REPRESENT A COUNTRY THAT IS COMPETING IN THE WINTER OLYMPICS! TUESDAY, 2/3: COZY CABIN DAY WEAR FLANNELS, SWEATERS, SLIPPERS…ANYTHING COZY CABIN VIBES! THE COZIER, THE BETTER! WEDNESDAY, 2/4: TWIN-TER WONDERLAND! DRESS THE SAME AS A FRIEND AND SHOW OFF YOUR MATCHING LOOKS! THURSDAY, 2/5: WINTER SPORTS DAY WEAR YOUR FAVORITE WINTER SPORTS JERSEY, SWEATSHIRT, OR T-SHIRT AND REPRESENT YOUR FAVORITE COLD-WEATHER GAME. FRIDAY, 2/6: SHOW SOME LOVE FOR THE PEP RALLY! Weight training club: Attn Weight Training Club members: There will be a change in dates for the club next week. We will meet on Tuesday and Wednesday for next week only, instead of Monday and Wednesday. This will be for the week of February 2nd only. Again, wight training club will meet next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Palmyra Girls Youth Lacrosse: Are you interested in playing the fastest sport on two feet? You're in luck. Any middle school girl interested in playing for the Palmyra Girls Youth lacrosse team can see Mr. Cooper or Ms. Mateja for a flyer to get signed up. Practices and games run from February until April and take place in the evenings after school sports end. No previous experience is required, and equipment is available for new players if needed. Sign up now to join a team with a 45-game win streak! Go Cougars!
FCA: Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be meeting Thursday, February 5th in the music room at 7:15am. We will have donuts, a lesson, and lots of fun. Bring a friend to FCA, all you need to do is show up on February 5th.
Dodge ball fundraiser: It's time to Dodge, duck, dip, dive and Dodge for a great cause! The 2026 Mini Thon Dodgeball tournament will be February 12th after school starting at 2:50 in the gym. Teams will consist of six to eight players with at least two players being of the opposite gender. Cost per team is $40 and can be paid by cash or check. Checks are payable to Palmyra Middle School Mini Thon. A bake sale will also be taking place throughout the event with proceeds going to Mini Thon. If interested and you have a team, one person per team see Mr. Cooper for an information packet. Completed registration money and packets are due back to Mr. Cooper by February 11th. Student Council Rose Sale Get ready for the Student Council rose sale! Single roses will be available for $1, a bouquet for $2, and a bouquet with a small stuffed animal for $3. Roses will be available for preorder in the mornings from February 4th until February 12th, and grab and go single roses will be available for $1 on Friday 13th. They can be purchased for a friend, family member, or even a staff member you want to thank! Thank you for supporting the Student Council!
